Scrap Flag

I had seen a few different types of scrap flags around and decided to try one by using only supplies that I had on hand.

lace flag

What you will need:
Lace
Ribbon
Trim
Jeans
Stencil  & paint or buttons

First. line up your red and white lace, ribbon, and trim in the form of the flag and pin it to a wide band.

Next sew the ribbon, lace, and trim to the band.

Next, cut  a piece of denim that size you want the blue of your flag, and stencil on the stars. I used my cricut to cut a star pattern, but a cricut is not required, any stencil will work for this.

Let the paint dry and attach your denim to your flag.  I sewed mine on, but you could also use hot glue.
Lastly, fold your band over to make a tube and sew it or glue it and put a dowel through.

Thanks for stopping by!
