Wedding Sign

I often end up making things for weddings, so I decided to make something unique.

Mr. & Mrs.

What you will need:
Chalkboard
Pattern
Stylus
Transfer paper
Chalkboard marker / chalk
Fence boards

I didn't get any pictures when I was doing the design on the chalkboard, but HERE is a tutorial on how I create my chalkboards

Then I cut some old fence boards to the size, so cut them to whatever will fit your project.

Next, you will want to fasten the pieces of wood together.  I was going to glue mine together, but my handy husband suggested something a bit more sturdy.  He used his pocket hole jig to screw the boards together.

I added a little paint to the boards, because I like the look.

Lastly, I glued the chalkboard to the boards!

It turned out to be a fun project!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  4. I shot a wedding at this place in May of last year and the couple was thrilled! They had the ceremony out on the patio then came inside to a long-table format reception which was perfect. The cake table at New York wedding venues was backed by some stunning views.
