Shamrock Hoops

I found some fun green scraps of fabric in my stash and had to find a fun project to use them.

What you will need:
2 Fabrics
Embroidery Hoop
Shamrock Pattern
Embroidery Floss
Needle

Use your shamrock pattern to trace & cut a shamrock.

Next, put your other fabric on the embroidery hoop.

Place your shamrock on the hoop and stitch around it.

Turn it over and cut off the excess fabric.

I added a little embellishment - but that is up to you.

St. Patrick's Day Tags

St. Patrick's Day will be here soon, and even though I don't do a lot of decorating for the holiday, I still wanted something fun!

First, I cut the boards from the wood pallet to the length. (whatever you prefer)  

Next, my handy husband cut the pieces of pallet into tags.  

Then, I painted the tags.

Next, I sanded them a bit to rough them up.

Then, I used my cricut to cut the patterns, but a cricut is not required, any stencil will work for this.

Next, stick the stencils to the boards and paint.

When it is dry, peal off the stencil.  Lastly, I threaded a rope thru and tie it.

Love Potion

First, I spray painted the jar black - it doesn't have to be really dark.

Next, I sprayed it with a couple coats of read paint

I let it dry and then I roughed it up with some brillo pads.  I used gloves, because it can get really rough on your fingers.

Lastly, I printed out a couple tags & added some charms to give it a fun look!
