I started out with a windowed cabinet door.
I painted it an Heirloom white and antiqued it a little.
Next, I glued some jute to the back side of the window (the branch the birds will sit on).
I cut the birds out of different scrapbook paper and used some double sided tape to attache them to the front.
Birds projects are so fun!

ReplyDeleteSo cute! Where did you get the shapes for the birds? I would love to do this in my daughters' room.

ReplyDeleteYour birds are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI have couple old windows would like to do this project on. Since birds are one of decorations I use this would be great. Your cupboard window is perfect size and your birds are so whimsical and pretty with different patterned papers.

This is very pretty. I like how you made the birds colorful and different sizes.
ReplyDeleteI have a window with a bird feeder hanging off of it by my office window. Now if I could just convince the REAL live birds to come eat it.
