Moroccan Shamrock

Moroccan Shamrock

I don't have tons of decorations for St. Patrick's Day, but I am loving the moroccan frame to decorate for any holiday, so I decided to make a shamrock decoration.  I am new to blogging and tutorials, so please leave comments or questions!

Items you will need:
Frame - I had my awesome hubby cut out this moroccan frame, because they are hard to find!
I do sell these on my etsy site.
Scrapbook paper for backing - I love the burlap paper
Green Burlap paper - any green paper or fabric you like
"Lucky" printed out to fit a label holder
Shamrock pattern
Lace paper
Washi Tape
Embellishment
Swirl Stencil - I just cut whatever swirl stencil was easy to get to on my circut
Paint - Cream colored, or whatever color you choose.
Paint Brush
Scissor
Hot Glue

First, trace the shamrock patter on the green burlap paper and cut it out.

Next, put you stencil over the shamrock and paint it & let it dry.

While the paint dries, stick a strip of washi tape to the paper lace.

And cut the lucky word to fit in the label holder.

Next, cut the scrapbook (burlap) paper to fit your frame and hot glue the paper lace to the burlap paper.

Glue an embelishment to the shamrock, and then glue the shamrock to the lace paper.

Next, attach the label holder to the scrapbook paper - the label holder I used had the prongs on the back to keep it attached to the paper.

Lastly. put it in your frame and enjoy your shamrock project!
