St. Patrick's Day Chalkboard

St. Patrick's Day Chalkboard

I am really liking chalkboard art, it so individualized.  I decided to make one for St. Patrick's Day.  I wanted to do a tutorial on how to do chalkboard writing for those of us who don't have a gift for great free hand writing.

What you will need:

Chalkboard
Pattern
Transfer Paper
Stylus
Chalk marker
Chalk

First decide the position of your pattern.  Then place the transfer paper down with the chalk side of the transfer paper against the chalkboard and place your pattern on top.

Next, tape the transfer paper and the pattern down.

Then use your stylus to trace the pattern.

It will look like light chalkboard writing.

Next, you will need to go over your pattern with chalk or chalk pens.

I finished tracing the pattern, and decided I wanted the word "The" bigger.

All it takes to change words is a little water and a paper towel.  Easy!
